Matthew is a civil litigation Attorney representing clients in a range of industries, with a focus on real estate, employment, and government matters. Prior to joining Wilenchik & Bartness, Matthew adjudicated employment discrimination, harassment, and labor law disputes at the Library of Congress.
Matthew graduated from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law with the highest pro bono distinction while providing pro bono legal services to the Homeless Legal Assistance Project and the Civil Rights Division of the Arizona Attorney General’s Office. Matthew has a strong background in Arizona policy, having held positions in both the Arizona Senate and Arizona House of Representatives.
Matthew previously worked in the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission’s Office of Federal Operations where he drafted appellate decisions for employment discrimination cases and published a quarterly digest on EEO law.
In his free time, Matthew enjoys rock climbing, mountain biking, and hiking with his dog Lincoln.
